Meet Blue Diamond Kennels

Blue Diamond Kennels has been in business for over 10 years, specializing in the breeding of Long Hair Chihuahuas. Most recently BDK has transitioned to a new breed, the Alaskan Klee Kai. Focused on the health and temperment of the breed, we are proud to say that our puppies come prepared for long, healthy and happy lives with no known health issues in their bloodlines. As avid dog lovers ourselves, our puppies are socialized with humans and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Socialization and exposure to life outside the home is increased incrementally every week as they mature. All puppies come fully vaccinated with their most recent health report. As the safety of our puppies is our main concern, we do require an application be submitted and if approved, a contract must be signed to ensure that they do not end up in a shelter. A little information on the Alaskan Klee Kai: Small, smart, and energetic, the Alaskan Klee Kai is a relatively new breed that looks like a smaller version of the Siberian Husky. Even the name “Klee Kai” comes from an Inuit term meaning “small dog.” While Alaskan Klee Kais may resemble larger Husky breeds, they have some key differences, especially when it comes to temperament, that distinguish it from its ancestor working class dogs of the north. This breed is more suited to the life of a companion; although, the Alaskan Klee Kai shares the high energy of the Husky and demands plenty of exercise. This breed is best suited for families that can satisfy its high energy demand and provide them with lots of love and attention. They are a very rewarding breed for the time invested, being highly trainable, and making excellent companions. Ideal for an active lifestyle.
