Meet Free Birds Farm

Hellen Barbara is from New York and breeds purebred Great Pyrenees. We raise all of our puppies holistically here at Free Birds Farm, which means we do not follow the conventional vaccination schedule, but we are intentional about the products and practices we use. Our LGD program began with carefully selected sire and dam from Hilltop Great Pyrenees in Tennessee, a highly respected breeder known for strong working lines. They are raised in a peaceful, nurturing farm environment and fed a clean, partially raw diet. They are given plenty of love, socialization, and space to thrive. Our Pyrenees are trusted guardians for our cows, pigs, goats, free-range chickens, and our grandchildren. Their devotion to family and flock is deeply instinctual and unmatched. Puppy Selection Process We accept deposits by sex and deposits are placed in the order received. Families choose in that order within their selected sex. That said Great Pyrenees are working dogs by nature and placement is not based on photos alone. Temperament, energy level, confidence and intended home environment all matter. As the puppies grow we guide families toward the puppy that best fits their needs, lifestyle, and experience. Our goal is not simply first-come-first-served, but the right puppy in the right home, which leads to the best long-term outcome for both.
