What is a Frenchton? A Frenchton is a designer or hybrid breed, typically 50% purebred French Bulldog and 50% purebred Boston Terrier. They have physical characteristics of both breeds, round heads, short flat snouts, erect bat-like ears, short in stature, naturally occurring docked tails, and short, shiny coat. Frenchtons generally get up to 20 inches long, 16 inches tall, and up to 25 pounds. Most are full grown by 12 months and will need regular exercise to maintain good health and weight. Frenchton Facts: Lifespan 12-15 years Intolerant to extreme heat or cold Bred to be companion animals (Because of this they will often suffer separation anxiety, having another animal in the home is good for them.) Exceptional temperament (Most are great with kids, and not too small to be easily injured by children!) Brachycephalic breed (They will snore!)
