Meet Gary Graves

Hi there, my name is Gary Graves and I’m the breeder and trainer here at GOO. I am the proud father of five children and G Daddy to two granddaughters. I have always had a dog in the house ever since I can remember. Growing up, some of my best friends were the family dog. My father was in the Air Force, so we moved from base to base, a lot. The one constant companion was the furry family member that made these transitions easier than they would have been. I knew no matter what, those dogs were always there for me, my Guardians. It is in honor of these dogs that I started GOO. I wanted to raise dogs that would have the same impact on their owners that my dogs had on me. I chose German Shepherds, GSD, because of their fierce loyalty, high intelligence, and their desire to work hard to please their owners. Every decision made in the breeding program is designed to ensure the majestic look, and the amazing character of these wonderful dogs remains the same for generations to come.
