Meet Jamie Crews

Our goal here at Happy Little Kennels is to raise Happy Little Poodles and Doodles. We are located on a small hobby farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our puppies are kept indoors in our home until they are four to five weeks old, then once their ready to toddle about they are allowed out to explore the big big world of our safely fenced in back yard. We are a hobby farm so puppies are socialized with chickens, ducks, and our cat, as well as our other dogs of varying ages and sizes. Puppies are also exposed to the sights and sounds of farm life. The cattle and horses are in a pen adjacent to the yard fence, and are frequent passersby, as is the load tractor pulling various farm implements. Puppies are also socialized with children of all ages. Depending on the age of the puppy he or she may already be well on the way to crate trained and house trained. Our goal is to give them as many life experiences as we safely can before they venture into the world with their new families. We work hard to ensure that puppies are well adjusted and confident. Our puppies come with age appropriate vaccinations, and up to date on wormer and preventatives. Our poodles are AKC registered and our Irish Doodles are from registered bloodlines. Parents have been genetic tested. Your puppy will arrive with a care packet including: health card detailing dates of preventives and vaccines as well as other pertinent information, information packet, AKC registration (if applicable), as well as a toy, blankie, and sample of puppy food to ensure that he or she settles in nicely.
