Founded in 2017 by Marion and Kathy Miller, Kamar Pets blends a family-run foundation with a deeply held commitment to raising healthy, well-socialized puppies. Every adult dog is treated as part of the family—with annual wellness exams, up-to-date vaccinations, and carefully selected pairings—while the puppies are gently introduced to everyday sounds and textures to build confident companions. Each pup leaves for their forever home with a vet examination, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, a 2-year genetic health guarantee and a starter kit, all wrapped in transparency, ethical breeding practices, and lifelong support. Our Story
We’re Marion and Kathy Miller, and yes — the name Kamar is a blend of our names. Growing up surrounded by animals, we wanted our children to experience the same joy and responsibility that comes with sharing life with a beloved pet. Since 2017, we’ve been learning, growing, and refining a breeding program rooted in integrity and compassion.
Our Commitment to Health & Care
• Adult Dogs as Family
The adult dogs in our care are more than breeding stock — they are our legacy. Each receives annual wellness exams, up-to-date vaccinations, dental care when needed, and any veterinarian-recommended treatments.
Many are genetically tested and thoughtfully paired to reduce risks in future litters.
• Puppy Socialization
From birth, our puppies are gently exposed to different textures and everyday sounds, and they enjoy plenty of loving interaction from our children and extended family. We believe these early experiences create
confident, well-adjusted companions.
What Every Puppy Leaves With
When a Kamar puppy goes to its forever home, we make sure it’s healthy, prepared, and ready to thrive:
• Complete veterinary exam
• Health certificate if required for travel
• Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
• Microchip
• 2-year genetic health guarantee
• AKC registration paperwork (when eligible)
• A cozy scent blanket to ease the transition
• A starter supply of the food they’re used to for a smooth diet change
Our Promise
We’re committed to transparency, ethical breeding practices, and the lifelong well-being of every dog in our care. We maintain USDA, BOAH, and Canine Care certifications and follow best practices in health, nutrition, and sanitation.
Our greatest joy is watching each puppy join a family that will cherish them for life — carrying a piece of our hearts into their new homes.
