Before breeding, I spent over 20 years helping families purchase their first homes. What mattered most was never the transaction — it was the relationship. I stayed connected with many of those families for years as their lives evolved. That long-term, relationship-first mindset is the foundation of Kid’s Best Doodle today. Our puppies are raised inside our home, not kennels, and gently exposed to real-life routines from the very beginning. We intentionally observe early, developmentally appropriate behavioral cues to understand each puppy’s emerging temperament. Rather than viewing puppies as interchangeable, we recognize that different puppies naturally lean in different directions. Within our litters, we often see early indicators that align with three general temperament paths: • Therapy-oriented temperaments, marked by emotional softness, social openness, and a calming presence • Service-oriented temperaments, marked by focus, regulation, composure, and early cognitive engagement • Companion temperaments, marked by balance, adaptability, and an easy integration into family life These observations are not promises or certifications. Puppies are reserved through Good Dog with a 100 initial commitment. Financing options are available for families who prefer flexibility, and many of our families choose this for convenience.
