Meet Kristan Farmer

I love my German Shepherds and want to give families the opportunity to experience the same type of joy (and character growth opportunities) that my dogs have brought to me. German Shepherd Dogs (GSDs) are big, energetic dogs that need a lot of attention and engagement. They are really smart and love to explore (which can lead to chaos), but also readily trained and very eager to please. One of my favorite aspects of my dogs is their loyalty, they want to be around me. They are gentle with other people (including children), but will chase down a ball with no mercy. We live together on a five acre plot in the country. About Me: I work for the US Army as a Nuclear Medicine Science Officer. I spent about ten years in the Air Force before commissioning in the Army. I have one son, he helps me with our dogs and adores them more than I do (which is quite the feat). I have a bunch of foster-to-adoption siblings that spend a lot of time at my house too. Family is really important to me.
