Meet Lani Ohly, Lakeside Farm

Lakeside Farm is a beautiful 440 acre historic farm in Putnam Station, NY; perfectly situated on the western shore of Lake Champlain, just east of Lake George, NY. We are dedicated to sustainable farming techniques and methods that cause the least disturbance to local ecosystems. We farm approximately 100 acres in traditional grass-fed agricultural products and maintain the remainder of our farm as a private wilderness. We use our dogs to guard livestock (horses, cattle, and poultry) in high predator loads. Our Anatolian Saint Shepherds are great multi-purpose dogs for livestock guardian work, light herding, and draft work. They are sturdy, hard-working, loyal, companions for farmers!
