Welcome to Leprechaun Lanes Doberman Pinschers, a division of Leprechaun Lane’s Trained Canines. We are a small, private kennel focused on breeding purpose-bred Doberman Pinschers specifically trained for medical service work. Our commitment is to produce healthy, intelligent, and well-tempered dogs that are not only excellent working dogs but also outstanding family companions. We breed all four colors of Dobermans recognized by the AKC, but we do not include any albino or albinism lines in our program. We view albinism as a mutation, not a recessive trait, aligning with the stance of the AKC. All of our dogs are UKC and AKC registered, with puppies available for both registries. Full registration is considered only for thoroughly vetted buyers. At Leprechaun Lanes, we raise our puppies with the highest standards. Every puppy undergoes APET temperament testing, and is raised using the best training methods, including Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Early Puppy Training (ENT), AVIDog, and Puppy Culture. By the time they leave us at 10-12 weeks, our puppies are litter-trained, crate-trained, recall-trained, and leash-trained. They are also familiar with basic commands such as sit, down, go to bed, and touch, ensuring they are well-prepared for their new homes. Our breeding philosophy emphasizes the importance of stable personalities, intelligence, athleticism, and longevity. We focus on outcrossing to promote better genetic diversity and minimize the potential for genetic defects. Our breeding stock is carefully selected, and we do not practice line-breeding or in-breeding. All of our dogs are N/N for every genetic defect available through Embark, and we conduct thorough health testing, including echograms and eye tests, in addition to standard genetic and DNA health screenings. Our breeding program follows a careful cycle, typically skipping at least one, if not two, heat cycles before rebreeding a bitch to ensure the health and well-being of our dogs. We offer a 2-year genetic defect guarantee, and all puppies are microchipped and health-tested within 30 days of heading to their new homes.
