Meet Pine Ridge Kennels

German Shorthair Pointers are so much more than hunting companions in today’s world. They are incredibly intelligent and eager to please. Training comes with a moderate amount of work but they hunt effortlessly. They make excellent family dogs, love to play games, and are easily sociable. They are great companions for when you want to go on a hike, swimming or anywhere. These dogs are fantastic family dogs that love your affection. You’ll likely find them snuggled up in a ball on your couch beside you. Pine Ridge Kennels has responsibly bred German Shorthair Pointers for 17 years. Through responsible breeding we aim to produce the best upland bird dogs in the region. All of the male and females hunt most of the year and are commonly used for paid guided hunts because of their excellent skill. Our GSPs spend their first five weeks or more inside the family home to ensure they have proper socialization before they spend their time outside chasing their littermates around. Currently the breeder has two breeding age females and two males on site. 2022 summer pups were bred responsibly using a well known outside stud dog with excellent temperament and exceptional hunting ability
