Meet Sycamore Spring Shepherds

The English Shepherd is a very intelligent and attentive breed. They are excellent working dogs, responding quickly to owners commands and once trained, can be left to accomplish tasks on their own. The English Shepherd is a skilled athlete and will often find success in competitions in agility, fly-ball, and Frisbee. They are regaderd as energetic and friendly and an excellent family companion and watchdog. The English Shepherd is typically reserved with strangers and will alert the family to visitors or intruder. This breed does very well with children when it has been raised with them from an early age they will typically get along well with other pets and animals especially if socialize from a young age. The English Shepherd, in general, has a bossy nature that must be kept at bay within the family, otherwise, the dog may attempt to exert itself as the alpha. The ES will require a firm and consistent, but not harsh, pack leader. This diverse working breed dogs will be happiest with a job and will require daily exercise to thrive!
