Description
Meet Vaquito—Spanish for “little cow”—our affectionate, observant, communicative, and wonderfully individual little space cadet.
At 12 weeks old, Vaquito is fully weaned, affectionate, and developing normally. His soft, slightly shaggy coat blends smoky brown, gray, and muted cream, with a sweet, thoughtful face that perfectly matches his dreamy personality.
Vaquito always seems to have a happy smile on his face. He enjoys affection and companionship and will settle close when invited, but he does not demand constant attention. His calm observation and independent curiosity reflect the thoughtful problem-solving qualities associated with Poodle and working-dog influence.
He has a softer social style than some of his littermates and is not especially interested in competing for dominance. He is simply gentle by nature, and that tolerance and adaptability align with desirable Sheepdog-associated traits.
Vaquito is also vocal and clearly communicates when he feels overwhelmed, separated, or in need of reassurance. He responds well to redirection, wants to please, and appears to learn through watching, listening, and quietly taking things in.
He would likely thrive with a patient, attentive person who appreciates sensitivity rather than mistaking it for weakness. A calm, friendly dog companion could also help him feel secure, provided the other dog is not overly rough.
