The long, silky coat sheds very little and was once a symbol of status and beauty. This outgoing breed enjoys meeting people and being pampered. Gentle and friendly, they make wonderful family dogs and do well with adults and children alike. They most enjoy spending time with their people, sitting on laps, snuggling and cuddling. Short, simple walks and indoor games with toys and fetch, basic training and even grooming are healthy activities that stimulate them physically and mentally and promote bonding.
