The Miniature Dachshund is a breed truly unlike any other. The Striking, Majestic Sable
True Sable is a rare, breathtaking, and deeply majestic pattern. Often confused with "shaded red," a true sable actually has hair shafts that are banded with two entirely different colors. At the root, the hair is red, but the very tips of the hair are black. This gives the dog a gorgeous, dark overlay, particularly across the back, ears, and tail. Sable Dachshunds also frequently feature a darker "V" or widow's peak on their forehead, perfectly framing their soulful, intelligent eyes.

With a name like Latte, it is no surprise that this sweet girl is an absolute treat! Latte is a breathtaking dapple, featuring a magnificent, marbled coat full of beautiful spots and splashes that make her completely unique. Her striking pattern is perfectly paired with her soft, floppy ears and the most soulful, expressive eyes. Because dapple markings are like fingerprints, there is truly no other puppy in the world who looks exactly like her!
At just a few weeks old, Latte is in the wonderfully sweet and clumsy stage of early puppyhood. Last weekend, we adopted a Coton de Tulear puppy. We specifically wanted this breed because they shed minimally, have few genetic health issues, and are highly sociable. However, we were initially concerned as some sellers misrepresent similar-looking breeds, like Maltipoos, as Cotons. Thankfully, when we contacted this seller, they confirmed it was a genuine Coton de Tulear, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish.
When we visited to pick up our puppy, the seller, along with his wife and their adorable children, welcomed us warmly. The puppy was absolutely adorable and healthy. Once we brought him home, he adapted quickly without hiding or being fearful, unlike some other puppies. He's playful and gets along wonderfully with our family.
We feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have found such a lovely puppy. Many people who've seen our dog have asked for the seller's contact, and we've happily recommended them. We wish the seller all the best!
