The Dachshund, meaning badger dog, originated in Germany to hunt badgers and foxes and was later bred to a miniature size to hunt rabbits in their burrows, hence the unique appearance. Don't worry if you're not into hunting, you can surely find a friend in one of these pups! Today, these small dogs make loving and loyal companions. Despite sometimes being called lazy, these dogs are playful and energetic. Interactive games are always a good time. Take them outside to play a game of fetch or amuse them with a game of hide and seek and they'll be sure to thank you! These puppies live on the property with both of their parents. Their mother, Brindle weighs 13 lbs. and their fathers name is Sandy, and he weighs 10.5 lbs. The puppies have been looked over by the veterinarian and have received worm treatment and are up to date on their vaccinations. Call anytime Monday to Saturday to inquire about the puppies and to schedule a time to visit. Leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Sunday calls will be returned Monday.
