This litter of Labrador Retrivers, eligible for AKC certification, will be ready for their furever home Friday, July 3rd. The mother, Akino Grace, has been in our home since 8 weeks old. She is light yellow, 65 pounds, and this is her second litter. She has an excellent nose, and although we haven't trained her to officially hunt. She has strong tendencies to do so. The Father, Luca Michael, we also have in our home. He is a family dog, that spent his first four years in a house that had small children. He loves to do nothing more than cuddle on the couch. He must be reminded often that he is not a lap dog. His demeanor is excellent. He is a red phase of the Yellow Labrador Retrievers, and weighs 85 pds and has had his hips checked. The pups are birthed in our home and stay inside with us in a whelping box until they start eating hard food. At that time, they get to be moved out into our indoor/outdoor kennel. At 8 weeks, They are moved back into our home to start crate training and become reacquainted to the home environment. All puppies have had their first deworming and will be up to date on vaccinations. They will be sent home with a blankie for a familiar smell to help ease the transition well as some food that they are currently eating.
