Description

Look at me! I'm a playful, adorable Corgi puppy! I was born October 3rd in the country and live with a wonderful family! My mom Brownie and dad Jack are both here with me. I am up to date on my shots and deworming. If you have an questions or would like to set up a time to come and see me, please call or text Travis! Here is some more information about my breed: Corgis are all around lovable dogs with a fun personality and adorable appearance. Originally bred as herding dogs, Corgis are intelligent and bond really well with their families. They have a desire to please that makes them very easy dogs to train, and they are adaptable to about any living environment, as long as they get proper exercise. Corgis are known to do really well around children, although they may try to herd them and nip at them as part of their natural instinct, and can also live with other animals as long as they are well socialized early on. Despite their size, they are energetic dogs and require attention and exercise throughout the day. Their intelligence makes them very fun dogs to play with but can also make them stubborn, and if issues arise it is recommended to crate train them, especially if left alone for periods of time. They make very good watchdogs and tend to be suspicious of people they don’t know, as well as other objects that seem threatening. Corgis are known to be very vocal and will let you know if they see something that catches their attention. Easily recognizable by their appearance, Corgis are typically between 10 and 12 inches tall, and weigh less than 30 pounds. Corgis are prone to overeat so food should be monitored to keep them healthy. This breed is double-coated, meaning that they have a thick undercoat, and long topcoat. They shed a lot, and should be brushed regularly to keep their coat well-groomed. The length and color of the coat can vary between dogs, and colors range between red, sable, black, tri-colored, and fawn, with white markings. Corgis are an adorable puppy that is perfect for the whole family! Each dog breed can be prone to develop certain diseases or conditions, be sure to research your specific breed before making a purchase to ensure you´re prepared for any challenges that may arise. This information is only a generalization and we make no guarantees on any breed related to personality, appearance, or typical health characteristics. Being the only girl, I've had to stand up for myself around these boys! I'll hold my own!
