Mom is a 4 year old standard tricolor UKC registered rat terrier. Dad is a 1 year old unregistered purebred fawn rat terrier with a natural bobtail. We will be trying to get him registered with the CKC PAW Program in a couple of months.
Both dogs love being outside, whether that's chasing birds and rabbits out of the yard or going on miles long hikes. When they aren't nose to the ground outside they are inside cuddling under blankets or playing with racquet balls.
Dad loves riding in cars and is always ready to go. Mom also loves riding in cars but gets car sick, she is trained to throw up inside of a bag and does so with 100% accuracy. Both dogs have been easy to train and are VERY food motivated. They are fiends for banana bread.
Mom and dad are both up to date on their vaccines and worming. They have no known health conditions and haven't displayed any signs of health problems. Mom and puppies are going to the vet next week for first vaccinations and a follow up worming.
Miss Molly is a tricolor female with all the sass of her mother and the non-stop playful attitude of her father. Molly seems to just hop every where she goes with her tail trying to help her achieve liftoff. This little puppy's tail just never stops wagging. She loves to play with her dad more than anything, even eating! Molly is always the first one to stop eating and start playing. She looks just like her mom did as a puppy with her dad's personality shining through. Molly is fearless and is ready to explore the whole world with you. She will be ready for her new home on December 2nd!
Molly has been to the vet and received her first round of vaccines along with 3 dewormings in total.
Molly has started the housebreaking process. While she is a bit hesitant to try new things, once she is comfortable she is an unstoppable force. After only two trips outside she got over her hesitation and loves to follow your lead all over the yard. She makes sure to race back with you into the warm indoors!
Our puppies get hours and hours (4+) of socialization every day, from kids to dogs to different animals and normal household chaos. They are used to bath time and getting their nails trimmed, feet touching is an every day occurrence. We want our puppies to be used to family life so that they can acclimate to yours with as little disruption as possible.
