Sleek and muscular, having distinctive rust-brown markings and a smooth coat, these loyal dogs are elegant and attractive. They come in black, red, blue, and fawn colors, each possessing the sharply defined, rust colored markings. Not only are these dogs gorgeous, but they are also full of life, energetic and highly intelligent. They are eager to please and easy to train, but need firm, consistent leadership. They excel in obedience and are intuitive, reading people and situations. Their desire to protect combined with their intelligent nature makes them independent thinkers, problem solvers and decision makers.
