The vet tech refused to give up on him and so did we. We are blessed that he was saved. We named him Bongo for his resilient heart beat. He does have partial loss of the tips of his toes on his rear left foot and he lost the very tip of his tail, due to his early medical challenges and recovery. Despite this, he has emerged as the most social, playful, and handler-focused puppy in the litter. He was the first to walk and consistently leads in engagement and confidence with people and the other puppies. His demeanor is bright, animated, and highly interactive, showing strong connection and eagerness to engage. He would still make an excellent stud dog or pet, although the show ring is not in his future.
