Description

Sire (Spirit) is a registered Native American Indian dog, he is Grey Wolf and Alaskan Malamute. Dam is a full blood GSD registered with the Continental Kennel Club. My husband is a Retired K9 Police officer, handler and trainer. In 1999 he was on the show COPS in Indianapolis with is GSD partner Diak. If we could afford it, I know he would keep every single pup! The litter has been registered with NAID and we have that paperwork to provide plus the parents paperwork/genealogy. The pups will only be sold into states that allow American Indian Dogs (wolf dna 35+%), NO EXCEPTIONS. We do not want them to be put down by any state. These are high energy dogs and generally have a high prey drive. They can be very skittish, if not socialized, our Spirit is not. We took him everywhere as a pup, he traveled with us when we worked. We've already begun socializing the pups and letting them be handled. Soon, we'll start leash training and store visits. They've been doing exceptional pee pad training in their room for 4 week olds. Our dogs are outside, you can have them inside, but with 3 coats of fur it'll be quite hairy. They're outside winter loving high energy dogs. Outdoorsy families are great with these trustworthy, loyal protectors. Your children can wear them out and they too can wear out your children. These are not couch potato puppies. Mom is a high energy 3yr old Eastern European GSD. This is her 1st and only litter. She is very fast and can be sneaky. She is very protective of her pups and our home/property. My husband thinks she would've made a great police dog. Dad is a 2yr old, food motivated, property patrolling, loves ear scratches and belly rubs big baby. No outside the family critters allowed in the yard. All our animals are well cared for and loved. In addition to the new parents and 12 pups, we have 2 almost 9yr old Mastadors (mastiff/lab) dogs; they are big babies, 4 cats, 2 kittens, 15 ducks and 16 chickens. We call it our flocking chaos, but love our country lifestyle, peace and quiet (sometimes). The puppies are doing great per our veterinarian. Had their 2nd de-worming on 4/27. Their next one is scheduled for 5/11. Two weeks after that shots will be scheduled. Then and only then will they be ready for their new homes. No exceptions. We want these adorable babies healthy, happy and ready to be the social butterflies they are becoming. I have named all the puppies, to me it's rude to call them collar colors. Of course the names can be changed with their new family, but I've picked out some really good ones! The bull in the China shop is this big boy. Lovable and wants ALL the attention.
