Stella is a retired dam from our breeding program who will be 5 years old in December. She is an incredibly loving, social girl who adores people and children and truly just wants to be part of the family. She is house-trained and crate-trained and is strictly an indoor family dog. Stella absolutely loves attention and affection—she will even nudge your hand to exactly where she would like to be petted! She has a sweet, people-focused personality and loves being wherever her family is. Stella does have sensitivities to certain foods, so her diet will need to be monitored, and her beautiful Bernedoodle coat requires regular grooming to keep it healthy and comfortable. She does not mind being bathed and groomed - she is very patient for all of her grooming needs. Stella will be spayed later this fall and will be ready to join her new family once she has had time to recover from her procedure. Finding the right home for Stella is extremely important to us. She has been a very special part of our family and program. She will only go to a home that we feel can provide her with the love, attention, and lifelong care she deserves. Stella is a pretty black and white Standard Bernedoodle, weighing about 60 pounds. She has just the faintest tan points on her legs, depending on how she is groomed. She is people focused, gentle and goofy. She was raised with children of all ages and knows when to play and when to stay back and observe. She is happy to sit at your feet enjoying the outdoors or will run and play if the mood feels right. Stell loves car rides. She loves to go for walks but can pull a lot when excited. She sleeps in a crate or at the foot of the bed. She is a very laid-back girl. Following her last litter of puppies, she developed an allergy to her food that she had been on for years. We have been working to clear up her skin, but she still has flare ups from time to time. She is good about taking her vitamins to help with itchy skin, but it is something to keep in mind. She will not tolerate the cheaper foods, and we prefer to know that a family will be diligent to maintain a healthy diet for her. It is important to us that she finds a family that will help her enjoy retirement life.
