She enjoys being away from her littermates, and often prefers taking a nap over roughhousing with her brothers and sisters. Fully vaccinated. All puppies will be fully healthy and functional, with the possibility of a slightly shorter, more compact build. “Chondrodysplasia (CDPA) in Miniature Poodles is a genetic trait tied to an FGF4 gene insertion that causes shorter legs. Unlike Chondrodystrophy (CDDY), CDPA affects limb length and growth plates, but it is considered a structural trait rather than a direct cause of intervertebral disc disease (IVDD).” -UC Davis Veterinary Medicine All puppies are approximately 97-100% poodle, with a very small percentage of Old English Sheepdog, if any at all. The pup we’ve kept kept out of this litter DNA tested 100% poodle through Embark. They will maintain very poodle-typical coats, structure, and temperament, with low-shedding coats and regular grooming needs. Puppies are expected to mature around 18–25 lbs, give or take a few pounds depending on the individual pup. Highly intelligent, trainable, affectionate, and social. Poodles are extremely versatile dogs that do well in active homes and family environments. One puppy from this litter is being retained by us.
