In March-April 2024, members of my family bought 4 Shiba Inu/Corgi mix pups from Barbara and Jacob Stoltzfus. They have been the highlight of our year with them. They are adorable dogs and all four have wonderful, friendly dispositions. We're fortunate that we can get all the pups together to play frequently. Thank you Barbara and Jacob. We love our fur babies!
Pros
Perfect size for city living and family environments, combining agility with manageable grooming needs
Highly intelligent and quick to learn, making training both enjoyable and effective
Low-shedding coat ideal for allergy sufferers and tidy households
Forms strong bonds with families, patient and good with older children
Cons
Needs professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to maintain coat health
Prone to separation anxiety if left alone for extended periods
Tendency to bark excessively, which can be challenging in apartments
Potential for hereditary health issues requiring attentive veterinary care
