Description
Due to an upcoming move, I am looking to rehome my dog to the right person. This is a hard decision and I want to be transparent so he ends up in a safe, permanent home.
He is a loving, playful, affectionate dog with his people. In the home, he is very sweet and enjoys attention, playtime, and staying close. He is happiest in a familiar environment with routine.
Important: He is also a high-anxiety, protective dog and can be reactive toward strangers, especially outside the home. He will bark, lunge, and snap when he feels threatened or overstimulated. He has never bitten anyone, but he needs an experienced handler who understands reactivity and is willing to use proper management and training.
He is used to being a house/yard dog and does best with a secure fenced yard. He is not currently a dog that can be casually walked around busy neighborhoods without structure. I strongly recommend muzzle training for outings until he is more stable.

Adult-only home preferred
Experienced dog owner (reactive/anxious dogs)
Quiet household with minimal visitors

Someone committed to training/behavior work
