This litter of Golden Retriever and Australian Cattle Dog mixes has been a genuinely wonderful group to raise, and at seven weeks old, they're growing into their personalities in the best way. The pups are black-coated and have that quiet, settled nature you don't always see this early, which makes us think they'll be the kind of dogs that feel like a natural fit in a home pretty quickly. With a Golden Retriever mom and an Australian Cattle Dog dad, you're getting a mix of loyalty and gentle intelligence that tends to make for a really companionable dog. These pups are up to date on their shots, and have been dewormed, so you can feel good about where they're starting from health-wise. They're calm and gentle by nature, which in our experience often means they settle well with families, and they seem comfortable around people in a way that's easy to appreciate. Their black coats are soft and dense at this stage, and they carry themselves with a kind of quiet confidence that's noticeable even at this young age. That easygoing quality combined with the drive and smarts that tends to come from the cattle dog side suggests they'll be happy with both affection and some activity as they grow.
