Description

"Say hello to your fur‑ever best friend!" "Say hello to your fur‑ever best friend!" I am a Puggle puppy! I was born on October 13th and I will be ready for my forever home on December 8th! I have been family raised on a mini farm in the country. I have had my shots and de-wormers. I will be checked by a veterinarian and I am micro-chipped. For more information or to schedule a visit with me, please contact Martha Ann Monday through Saturday. All Sunday calls will be returned on Monday. My Mom is Sally a Beagle and my Dad is Jeff a Pug. I will come with a 72 hour health guarantee. I will be sent to my new home with a small bag of my current food, my vet and shot and dewormer records. We would be happy to help you with setting up transportation and shipping of your puppy if needed at an additional cost. The Puggle is an adorable, sweet, and cuddly small to medium sized designer dog breed mix between a Pug and a Beagle. The breed was developed in the 1980s by Wallace Havens from Wisconsin. Haven's aspiration was to develop a breed that combined the best qualities found in the Pug and the Beagle. The Pug is known to have a calm, friendly, and affectionate nature, whereas the Beagle is loyal, energetic, and easy-going. This cute, sociable, and gentle breed is excellent with the elderly, singles, new dog owners, and families. Their need to interact and play makes them a great breed for children, where they will bond closely with them. The Puggle would be a great breed for apartment living but they do have a tendency to bark. If the Puggle does live in an apartment it is vital that they receive at least 30 minutes of exercise per day plus playtime. The breed does make a great watch dog due to the Beagle’s inherent tendency to bark. They are very resilient, adaptable, and accommodating, but it is wise not to leave them alone too much. Puggles are a great breed for many lifestyles, whether it is rural, suburban, or even the city, as long as they do get enough exercise. The Puggle is low maintenance and very easy to groom. This endearing and charming breed has a thick and powerful build, and may have a somewhat longer body. Their tail can look more like the Pug where it curls or it can be straight like the Beagle. It just depends on which breed it resembles. The Puggle has well-built and strong legs, and tightly, thick packed paws. The Puggle has a propensity to gain weight so they do need to be monitored in the amount of food they are given. It is important that their food has a good nutrient balance of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. The Puggle is normally 8-15 inches high, typically weighs 14-30 pounds, and generally has a life span of 10-15 years.
