Description
His name is Vuitton. He is a 6-year-old male Affenpinscher/Poodle mix and weighs about 11 pounds. He is neutered and received his rabies vaccine last year, but he is not currently up to date on other vaccinations.
Vuitton developed separation anxiety when he was a puppy during COVID because I was home with him constantly. If he is left out of his crate while the owner is gone, he will have accidents in the house, destroy items, and cry. Because of this, he would do best with someone who works from home or can frequently check on him.
He is generally good with children. I do have two toddlers and he is fine around them, but if food or toys are left out he may try to take them. He is also fine with cats, although he will bark at them and chase them.
The reason I am looking to rehome him is due to a major change in our household. My boyfriend recently had a spinal cord injury and is currently relearning how to walk. With two young children, my full-time job, and his ongoing medical care and physical therapy, I am no longer able to give Vuitton the time and attention he needs for his anxiety.
This is not an easy decision, but I want to make sure he can go to a home that has the time and environment he needs.
