Description
Mithril is a beautiful Silver Brindle Russian Yorkie with a stunning, silky coat that doesn’t tangle easily. She has an adorable face, gorgeous ears, and a compact, well‑proportioned build. She is very affectionate, loving, and wonderful with kids and all people. She does need a home without cats, as she likes to chase them, and she shouldn’t live with other female dogs because she can be a bit dominant. When we first got her, she did mark like a male due to insecurity and being surrounded by many other dogs, but she does not mark when she is settled and not around other females, so this should not be an issue in the right home. She is excellent for grooming and baths — truly one of the easiest dogs we’ve ever had. She is an amazing little girl, and we all adore her. Letting her go is difficult, but we want what is best for her long‑term happiness.
We bought Mithril last year and were told she was three, but later learned she is actually six. She has been in several different homes before coming to us, so we want to make sure that wherever she goes next will truly be her final forever home. If it weren’t for the fact that a couple of our other girls bully her, we would absolutely keep her. For her sake, she needs a home where she can be the center of attention and spoiled the way she deserves.
Her teeth were in poor condition when she arrived, and she was already missing a few. Several were loose, but after switching her to a better diet and getting her teeth cleaned, most of them tightened back up. She developed a large bladder stone that required surgical removal. Because of this, she will need to stay on a specific diet and be monitored to ensure she doesn’t develop another one.
