Description

Hello, my name is Loretta, I am the breeder for Synbella’s Charming Basset’s in Dutton, Al. All out puppies are raised in our home, we do take them outside when they are old enough to play in a clean and controlled area, we do not expose them to other animals that are not our own. They are socialized with our cat as well as mom and dad, and big brother, they play with our grandchildren ages 17 down to 19 months. We give all 1st shots, worming and in some cases they will arrive at their forever homes with rabies vaccine as well. They are CKC registered, Mom Mabel is CKC with dad Pappy holding both CKC and AKC registration. We are 100% Veteran owned as we are a military family. I was introduced to the breed while deployed, we had a K-9 unit that had one named Sargent, who I spent a lot of time with. I fell head over heels for the breed. My son got Pappy for me in 2017 to train to respond to my PTSD, instead he took to my husband and naturally responds to his low or high sugar episodes as well as his heart. This is all natural. Which is why we got Mabel, who will respond to calm my PTSD flair ups. These dogs are amazing animals, loyal companions and have so much character you will never have a dull moment, which is what led us to our 3rd Basset Rastus, who is currently 15 weeks old, and he is full of adventure. Our dogs are like children, they ride in cars trucks even had Pappy on a motorcycle. They enjoy field trips and vacations, they walk without a leash. With our pups we work on limited training to a point, green leash break them, as well as puppy pad training. Our dogs have never spent the night outside or away from one of us. They are like our children, very very spoiled. So your pup will come pet loved expecting cuddles and belly rubs frequently. Our colors vary lemonade and white/ mahogany and white/ black and white / Tri colored as well. We are hoping for more blue coats when Rastus is ready to stud, as he is blue and white. We feel that every home should have a basset hound in it. Our pups come to your new home with shot record, small bag of pure balance food, travel bowls for food and water, starter puppy pad pack, poop bags with holder, toys, blanket with mom and siblings scent, registration packet and bag to carry it all in.
