When you cross a French Bulldog with a Miniature Australian Shepherd, you get a unique designer mix often referred to as a Bull-Aussie. This pairing blends a low-energy, affectionate companion with a high-intelligence, energetic working dog. Pups often inherit the sturdy, muscular build of the Frenchie with the striking coat colors or "merle" patterns of the Mini Aussie. They typically have a more defined snout than a purebred Frenchie, which can lead to better breathing. Thanks to the Mini Aussie genes, these dogs are highly trainable and eager to please. However, the Frenchie side can occasionally add a streak of stubbornness.
