Meet Alfie, a sweet French Bulldog boy born June 12, 2026.
Alfie is definitely a people dog. He loves being close to his person and will happily follow you around before settling in beside you for a cuddle. He’s playful and curious without being excessively energetic and is shaping up to be an excellent little couch-potato companion.
We’ve introduced him to harness walking, and while he’s making progress, Alfie remains unconvinced that taking a perfectly good French Bulldog and walking him around the neighborhood is a sensible use of anyone’s time. 😂
Long romantic walks? Negotiable.
Netflix and cuddling? Now you’re speaking his language.
Alfie responds beautifully to positive reinforcement, particularly when negotiations involve chicken or cheese. He’s progressing very well with crate, potty and harness training and has already mastered something every puppy parent appreciates: he sleeps through the night without needing a potty break!
He’s done wonderfully with our 7- and 2-year-old grandsons. We also have two cats. His interactions with them have been curious and positive. Nobody is exchanging friendship bracelets yet, but everyone gets along.
He also rides very nicely in his car carrier.
And because every dating profile should disclose a few quirks: Alfie occasionally produces some remarkably cute puppy flatulence. His expression afterward suggests he has absolutely no idea where it came from.
We have our suspicions. 😂
🐾 AKC & BREEDING PRIVILEGES
Alfie came from an Oregon breeder who advertised his litter through AKC Marketplace. He is eligible for Full AKC Registration with breeding privileges, and his AKC paperwork and pedigree will accompany him.
His future family can simply enjoy this handsome boy as a companion or, once mature and after appropriate health testing, potentially evaluate him as a future stud.
We’ve also purchased an AKC DNA + Health Kit and are submitting his sample for testing. Results will be provided when available.
🩺 HEALTH
Since coming home, Alfie has had an additional veterinary examination. He was recently diagnosed with pyoderma (a skin infection) and is currently being treated topically. We believe in being completely transparent, and his veterinary and vaccination records will accompany him.
🎓 TRAINING
Alfie is enrolled in a four-session professional puppy training program and has completed his first session. He did very well and responds nicely to positive-reinforcement training.
His three remaining prepaid sessions will go with him if transferable to his new owner.

We want his transition to be as comfortable as possible, so his familiar belongings are included at no additional charge:

💙 WHY ARE WE REHOMING HIM?
We brought Alfie home hoping a companion dog would encourage a member of our household to become a little more active. We quickly discovered that while a dog may still be right for us, the demands of raising a very young puppy aren’t the right match for our household at this time.
This has absolutely nothing to do with anything Alfie has done wrong. In fact, his sweetness makes the decision difficult.
We’ve only had him a short time, and rather than waiting until everyone becomes even more attached, we want to recognize the mismatch early and find Alfie the family that can fully enjoy his puppy years and give him his forever home.
