They tend to be alert, inquisitive, and surprisingly bold for their size, traits that go back to their origins as scent hounds bred to work independently. That history means they're intelligent dogs with a genuine curiosity about the world around them, and you can already see that in the way these pups take in their surroundings and engage with anyone who comes near. Any one of these pups would settle in beautifully with a family that wants a companion who's genuinely engaged with the people around them, whether that's a quiet household or one with kids running around. Their size makes them well suited to a range of living situations, and their loyalty to the people they bond with tends to make them deeply rewarding companions over the long run. We are very happy! Sara Ann had great communication, we drove from 2.5 hours away to a beautiful farm in Pennsylvania for our mini dachshund. She had all the papers ready, our pup is clean, sweet. We even got to meet his parents. We would definitely recommend. Thank you!!
