Meet Dixon! He is a super sweet and playful boy. Black and tan dapple piebald with alot of ticking. He is neutered. Crate trained. Uses the doggie door to go out to potty. He walks well on the leash. Dixon may be a little shy at first and would do best with another dog in his new home. He hasn’t been around cats or kids. So older kids only please! Feel free to text me with any questions or to set up a time to come meet Dixon. Thanks

The seller is a very nice person to meet and I can not recommend this seller enough. Her dogs are well taken care of and sweet. We bought Harley and are so happy with him. His temperament is wonderful and it's fun watching him flourish and start to give puppy kisses. Seller was kind enough to provide a small bag of food and Harley was easy to train on wee pads. Please look into her beautiful babies you won't be disappointed
Pros
AKC's most popular hound breed — combining apartment-friendly size with a genuine hunting dog's tenacity
Three coat varieties (smooth, wirehaired, longhaired) and two sizes (standard and miniature) offer real choice
Long-lived breed — well-cared Dachshunds regularly reach 12-16 years
Vocal watchdog in a small package — highly alert and protective despite modest size
Cons
IVDD (intervertebral disc disease) is the most significant breed health crisis — spinal injury risk is real and lifelong
Stubborn, independent terrier-like character requiring consistent patience in training
Strong prey drive and determined digging instinct — yards must be secured, small pets carefully managed
Housebreaking is notoriously difficult — a consistent crate-training approach from day one is essential
