“Hot days are better with cool puppy cuddles!” I am a Pomapoo puppy! My Mom is Emily a 10lb Pomeranian and my Dad is Patrick a 10lb Mini Poodle. I was born on May 18th and I will be ready for my forever home on July 13th! I have been family raised on a mini farm in the country around children. I have had my shots and de-wormers. I have been checked by a veterinarian. I am micro-chipped. For more information or to schedule a visit with me, please contact Rhoda Monday through Saturday. All Sunday calls will be returned on Monday. Our puppies are happy, healthy and playful. They love playign with kids and will entertain them for hours!! I will come with my vet and shot record, and some of my current puppy food. We would be happy to help you with setting up transportation and shipping of your puppy if needed at an additional cost. This playful mixed breed between a Pomeranian and a Mini or Toy Poodle was developed during the late 1990s in North America. The small and intelligent Pomapoo can also be called a Pompoo, Poopom, Pooranian, or a Pomeroodle. The Pomapoo is a loving and easy to train breed and would do well living in an apartment, as well as in large families. It would be important to have early training and socialization to have a very well behaved pup. This breed is sensitive and does not like to be alone so having another pet in the home would be helpful. The Pomapoo is very sociable and has an easygoing personality which is helpful for new dog owners, the elderly, or just about anyone. The breed does not do well in extremes of temperatures whether hot or cold. They are very affectionate and loving to their family, and especially to the one who mainly cares for them. The Pomapoo is a low shedder but would need to be professionally groomed every six to eight weeks. It would depend on which parent breed the pup takes after. The Pomapoo’s coat is typically white, brown, black, fawn, red, or sable, and is sometimes multi-colored. Their ears need daily care and cleaning, as well as their nails trimmed once or twice a month. Due to their being a small breed their oral hygiene is of utmost importance and daily brushing of their teeth is essential. The Pomapoo is in the Mixed Breed Dog classification, and is typically 8-12 inches high, weighs 5-15 pounds, and has a lifespan of 12-15 years. They do have a tendency to gain weight, and their exercise needs are in the medium category so one walk a day would be sufficient. With regular care and routine veterinary visits your Pomapoo should live a long and happy life.
