Meet Archie, a stunning long-haired miniature Dachshund with the sweetest, most affectionate personality. He has been thoroughly vet-checked and has received a clean bill of health. He adores being loved on, enjoys cozy cuddle time, and is already showing a gentle, people-focused temperament that will make him a devoted lifelong companion. The sire (Leo) is an AKC-registered long-haired cream Miniature Dachshund weighing 11.8 lbs. He has been OFA certified for Heart and Patellas. Leo has also been genetic tested through the AKC DNA Program powered by Neogen. His results were clear for all tested genetic conditions, with the exception of an increased risk for IVDD associated with CDDY, which is common in the Dachshund breed and does not mean he has IVDD or will necessarily develop the condition. The Mom is an AKC long-haired cream Dachshund and weighs 8.9 lbs. She is also OFA certified on Heart & Patellas. The mom has been genetic tested through Animal Genetics and is clear on their breed-specific genetic panel. She has tested clear for all breed-specific genetic conditions included in the panel. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Matt, his family and his fantastic puppies. We were met with warm welcomes and it was clear to see that they were very passionate about their dogs. The puppy was absolutely everything we dreamed of and more. Her breeding and disposition are impeccable and we were also able to meet both parents who were equally impressive. Matt was very thorough in explaining her papers and what was needed for future care and registration. She was absolutely worth the travel from long island NY and her pricing I would consider way more then fair.
