Meet Finn, a beautiful long-haired miniature Dachshund puppy with a calm, affectionate nature. He has passed his veterinary health exam with a clean bill of health. He enjoys attention, loves to snuggle, and is developing into a well-mannered, gentle companion perfect for a loving home. The sire (Leo) is an AKC-registered long-haired cream Miniature Dachshund weighing 11.8 lbs. He has been OFA certified for Heart and Patellas. Leo has also been genetic tested through the AKC DNA Program powered by Neogen. His results were clear for all tested genetic conditions, with the exception of an increased risk for IVDD associated with CDDY, which is common in the Dachshund breed and does not mean he has IVDD or will necessarily develop the condition. The Mom is an AKC long-haired cream Dachshund and weighs 8.9 lbs. She is also OFA certified on Heart & Patellas. The mom has been genetic tested through Animal Genetics and is clear on their breed-specific genetic panel. She has tested clear for all breed-specific genetic conditions included in the panel. The puppy was absolutely everything we dreamed of and more. Her breeding and disposition are impeccable and we were also able to meet both parents who were equally impressive.
