This is our precious Stella. She is a Jorkie. Yorkie/Jack Russell. We bought Stella to train as a diabetic alert dog. She was 6 months old when we purchased her. Stella is crate trained and will sit quietly in her crate at night . She would prefer to sleep with us though! Stella does recognize diabetic lows. However, she is much smaller than is needed to be safe for us and our ranch lifestyle. She is only 8 lbs. She is very agile though, as she can jump up to every bed and the sofa easily. We want to find Stella a wonderful home. She loves to snuggle and follows my daughter’s every step. She is just adorable and loves everyone. Stella is good with most dogs and all cats. Really large dogs (our Great Danes) and horses make her nervous, but she adjusts well in time. She adores kids and is friendly with everyone. Stella is not hyper and barky like many from her two breeds. She will bark if someone knocks on the door, but otherwise is pretty quiet unless she feels she has been unfairly left in that crate too long! She is such a good girl.
