Willow is a 5-year-old retired breeding mom who is ready to enjoy her next chapter as a beloved family companion. She has been raised in our home with children and other dogs. Willow does well with other dogs but is definitely the alpha, so she needs a family that understands her confident personality and can provide clear, consistent boundaries. Willow is house trained, crate trained, affectionate, and active. She needs an indoor family home with plenty of space to run, roam, and burn off her energy. She sleeps with one of our children every night and is free to roam during the day. She has nervous energy that she needs to be able to run off during the day. She does not walk well on a leash but she is very smart and would likely learn given enough time. She prefers to chase squirrels and birds rather than be constrained by a leash. She will be spayed before joining her new family.
