Description

Start off the New Year with a New Puppy! Start off the New Year with a New Puppy! I am an IOEBA registered Olde Englishe Bulldogge puppy! I was born on November 8th and I will be ready for my forever home on January 3rd! I have been family raised on a mini farm in the country around children. I have had my shots and de-wormers. I have been checked by a veterinarian and I am microchipped. For more information or to schedule a visit with me, please contact Milan Monday through Saturday. All Sunday calls will be returned on Monday. My Mom is Ashley and my Dad is Oliver. I will be sent to my new home with a sample of my current food, my vet and shot and dewormer records, and a 1 year health guarantee. We would be happy to help you with setting up transportation and shipping of your puppy if needed at an additional cost. Though the Olde English Bulldogge resembles the English Bulldog, the Olde English Bulldogge, or OEB, is its own distinctive breed. The original Olde English Bulldogge was used centuries ago in England for bull-baiting until the sport was prohibited. In the United States during the 1970s, David Leavitt desired to develop a new Olde English Bulldogge breed in such a way that it resembled the original breed but without the negative characteristics it normally possessed. He mixed and bred the English Bulldog, Bullmastiff, American Pitbull Terrier, and American Bulldog and succeeded in his endeavor. The Olde English Bulldogge that Leavitt created was less aggressive and with less physical maladies then the original breed. This breed would do well in busy families with children but they do need attention and exercise, and early training is recommended. This playful breed is compact and strong and does well with 30-45 minutes of exercise a day, whether it is a few walks, fetch, and some playtime. The breed is affectionate, friendly, and intelligent which makes them easy to train. This loyal breed is very protective of their loved ones and they do make great watchdogs. This breed does not do well in climate extremes, especially the heat. The Olde English Bulldogge does have a tendency to drool and is a mouthy breed so it would be important to be aware of that characteristic. Their coats are short, coarse, and straight and easy to maintain. A weekly brushing is suggested, as well as brushing their teeth a few times a week. The Olde English Bulldogge does have a lot of wrinkles and it is important to keep these folds of skin clean. Bathe this breed when necessary with a good quality shampoo to maintain a nice, clean coat. They typically are red, white, black, brindle, and fawn, and may have some white in their coats. The Olde English Bulldogge is typically 16-20 inches high, normally weighs 50-80 pounds, and has a general lifespan of 9-14 years. With routine veterinary care and much love your Olde English Bulldogge should live a long and happy life.
