Description

Our breeding goals are to produce healthy life long working partners with a high level of drive and working instinct for both your farm and your family. We focus on breeding Australian Shepherds that are biddable, intelligent and capable of competing in multiple areas of work and competition. We offer limited breeding of premier working Australian Shepherd lines. Our working Australian Shepherd lineage includes Slash V, Vest, Kidd (Randy Kidd), Pince Creek, and Hangin' Tree. Litter: Boone (Sire) is from Randy Kidd out of Kidd's Rosie Red and a Dog named Ky. Lady (Dam) is out of a Slash V bred Female and Mike Clark's MC Cash Agent. Both Dogs have multiple HOF dogs in their breeding and several would be recognized and appreciated by those that follow pedigrees. Boone and Lady do not have a great deal of faults and really compliment each others strength and weaknesses. We are looking forward to seeing how these pups perform. Six pups were born on November 22, 2025 (2 males and 4 females). We are retaining two pups, so we will have 4 available. All pups have been socialized, and are showing a good amount of confidence and some early drive. This is Lady's second litter and pups from the first litter are said to be showing a lot of promise in multiple types of work. Character: Both dogs are great partners and an indispensable part of our family. Both Boone and Lady have a lot of drive, are one person dogs, a little leery of strangers, and loyal to a fault. They are protective without being aggressive, both have good minds and are easy and a joy to be around. For us balance is important and both dogs have the ability to transition from work to an afternoon of playing ball with the kids without hesitation. They are irreplaceable on and off the farm. Boone's Working description: Boone is a trustworthy, confident, loose eyed dog that hits both head and heel. He grips low on the heel but has moved up a little bit over the last few years on sheep. He has a strong grip when threatened and will turn most stock when needed. He has a good sense of balance and pressure and will give stock the appropriate amount of space and time to transition when being worked. He will work from and off balance and understands why. He drives, but longer cross drives take a lot of engagement to keep correct. In the open field, he has a clean workable outrun. He squares off nicely, stays out but will slice a little on the back side on longer runs (if you let him). He will move back out if asked. He will gather blind and unassisted at a distance, but consistent clean outruns do seem to fall apart after 150-200 yards. Although Boone isn't a fast worker, he has a natural stock awareness and tends to be where he needs to be. I would consider Boone a 90% dog on taking commands. Fortunately, most of the other 10% is when I am telling him something wrong to do. Lady's Working Description: Lady has become my companion dog and does not (formally) work on the farm. She is extremely athletic and has a great deal of natural talent with lots of drive and desire to work. She is the type of dog that will go all day and into tomorrow and then make you feel guilty for stopping. She is more of an upright dog with a good amount of focus on stock. She has a strong natural sense to gather. On stock, she has a lot of confidence, no fear and works through pressure. Off of stock, she doesn't take a lot of pressure but doesn't need it to get results. Pups are ready to go now! Pixal is intelligent, outgoing, athletic, and people oriented. She loves to cuddle! She has been well socialized with people, kids, dogs, cats, and sheep.
