Being the perfect splice between bernese and Cavalier- Malcom has a mellow low-energy side but still remains friendly and fun despite his slower pace! We love the fact that he’s quick to pick his favorite humans, and is happy to just watch the world go by or meander around looking for a distracting scent to discover! He is watchful, redirectable, but sometimes oblivious to personal space so he’ll make his grand entrance tripping over others or plopping his whole body weight on top of a sleeping sibling just for the calming connection with another while he’s laying and playing with a soft toy. We think Malcolm would be a perfect companion for retirees who love the Bernese breed but physically can’t handle the size and also appreciate the happy go lucky vibes of the Cavalier! If you want a solid puppy who is just a complete joy all around- Malcom is the one for you!

If we could choose one puppy from this litter that has the most characteristics of a stuffed animal that’s come to life it would be Maverick! He has got such a soft snuggly presence about him- both calm and sweetly playful we can hardly stand not scooping him up every moment and letting our inner child squeeze the stuffing out of him! Our boy is kind, patient beyond what is normal for a dog his age, intuitive and mellow- we can’t think of a better pick to be a natural emotional support animal! Despite his submissive ways- Maverick is still social and confident in his ability to make new friends!
