The Double Doodle, also known as the Golden Labradoodle or Double Doodle Poo, is a hybrid dog breed originating from the United States. It is created by crossing a Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever and Poodle mix) with a Labradoodle (Labrador Retriever and Poodle mix). This unique blend results in a medium-sized dog typically standing 20 to 29 inches tall and weighing from 30 to 80 pounds. The coat can be curly, wavy, or straight, coming in various colors like cream, gold, black, and brown. Double Doodles are known for their friendly, sociable, and intelligent temperament, making them excellent family pets. They are good with children, other pets, and even strangers, displaying a gentle and playful nature. This breed often has a hypoallergenic or low-shedding coat, suitable for families with allergies. Their high trainability and eagerness to please require early socialization and regular mental stimulation. With a combination of traits from retrievers and poodles, Double Doodles are affectionate, playful, and versatile, fitting well in family homes seeking a loyal and smart companion.
