The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a cheerful, affectionate, and intelligent breed known for its short legs, long body, and big personality. Originally bred as a cattle and sheep herder, this sturdy little dog combines agility, courage, and charm. Corgis are active and social companions that love being part of family life, always eager to work or play alongside their humans. Their agreeable temperament and expressive faces have made them one of the most beloved small herding breeds in the world.
Originating in Pembrokeshire, Wales, as early as the 1100s, the breed’s ancestry is believed to trace back to either Swedish cattle dogs brought by Vikings or dogs brought to Wales by Flemish weavers. The Pembroke and Cardigan Corgis were originally considered the same breed until they were officially separated in 1934, when the American Kennel Club also recognized the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. With its upright ears, fox-like expression, and weather-resistant double coat — typically in red, sable, fawn, or tri-color — the Corgi is both hardy and adorable. Lively, loyal, and intelligent, Pembrokes are excellent family pets and watchdogs who love having a job to do. They need regular exercise to stay fit and prevent weight gain, and daily brushing to manage their shedding. With their bold heart and affectionate spirit, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi brings energy, loyalty, and joy to any household.

Brownie! Well then...we weren't too creative when giving him his name. Of the litter of 7, he was the only brown puppy. He's quite the guy. He can be vocal if needed. He is a friendly and happy boy. He loves to play and chase around with his brothers. But...he also enjoys being held and loved.

Welsh Corgi Pembroke
Freckles! He's wicked smart. Clever. And yet, he's warm and tender. He was the first to recognize his name at only a few weeks old. He got his name for some freckles he has on his snout. He does enjoy the occasional hug and lap time. But he also enjoys chasing around with his brothers. Freckles is keenly aware of everything going on around him. Nothing gets by Freckle

Hammy! Ahhhh...sweet boy Hammy. He's always been the big boy of the litter, even from birth. We call him the 'gentle giant'. Hammy is also shy. When his brothers are chasing and running around, he may just sit back and watch. He is the essence of calm. He is not a barker. Nope. But lately, he will talk. Yes. He will make a sound/s as he tries to communicate. But his

Punkin! Mr. Punkin. He's quite involved. He loves to play with his brothers, and you'll find him in the middle of any event. He's a very active puppy. He's the smallest of the litter. So as an adult, he'll be on the small side. He tends to be a lap dog. He will run to me and jump up just to sit in my lap. Once there...he'll sit quietly and enjoy life.

Yam. Sweet Boy Yam. He's the other big boy in the litter. But like his brother Hammy, he's as gentle as a Spring afternoon. He makes no fuss about anything. He goes with the flow. His left ear hasn't come to full attention. It flops over. It's cute, actually. The Vet says it will eventually stand up straight. But for now? Not yet. He loves to be held, but he's a big
