Meet Karakachan

At 62 I finally found a dog I wanted to keep intact. She is 1/2 Karakachan and I fell in love with this livestock guardian breed. I now have a litter of nine: 3/4 Karakachan, 1/8 Anatolian, 1/8 Pyrenees. These dogs were bred hoping for better longevity, less hair, and an even temperament. They naturally protect livestock and need homes where they have a job. They even let me know when a horse is not where it is supposed to be.
