Find us on the GoodDog website as an approved reputable breeder! That means we have passed their screening process and have our dogs genetically tested. We have OFA preliminaries done our male and are scheduling appointments for our girls We live on a working, 120 acre farm in rural Dundee, Ohio. We raise Standard Australian Shepherd. My husband and I are full time parents and farmers. Being home all day allows us to be flexible and be there to provided constant care for our dogs and livestock. The Aussies are very involved with the farming operation and are always involved when our kids are riding bikes or playing in the snow. All of us very hands on with the care of our puppies as well as our other livestock. Our children range in age from Grades 1-10, so the puppies are accustomed to little people. The dogs also alert us when guests arrive or there is something out of place with some of the livestock. Our goal is to raise happy and healthy puppies that blend into your family naturally. We implement the ENS and EIS starting at 3 days of age, and begin puppy curriculum at a young age when their fear is low. This helps the puppy understand that new surrounding and objects are not scary, but ok with encouragement from mom and dad. We litter train our puppies using alfalfa pellets (to mimic grass smell), and this allows them to learn to go potty quickly in the grass, when they go outside. Our dogs all have clear genetic panels through pawprints genetics, and everyone has OFA hips and elbows done. We love the loyalty of the breed and the constant companions they have become to us.
