Meet Bowen Malamutes

Big, gentle Malamutes raised as part of our family pack At Bowen Malamutes, our dogs aren’t kept in kennels. They are our family pack. We only have two or three litters a year, because we spend so much time socialising every puppy from the day it’s born until it goes home. Our bloodline goes back three generations. Our Sir Mac is a large, friendly male. His son Luc was born here in 2018, and Luc’s son King now weighs 145 lbs. Our Malamutes are big dogs. Many of our adults weigh between 125 and 160 lbs, and they come in grey and white, red, and standard coats. Our females include Sheba, a 135 lb grey AKC Malamute with a very wolf-like look, along with Ginger, Nova, Dixie and Nanook. Families keep telling us the socialising makes a difference. One owner wrote that her girl is “curious and gentle” and known all over the neighbourhood as a sweet dog. She even won over the family’s picky cat, and the two now snuggle up together in the evenings. Another family describes their 3-year-old boy as loving, family-oriented and intuitive, just as we told them he would be. Others tell us about gentle giants who follow the kids around, love belly rubs and swim whenever they get the chance. Bowen puppies now live with families in Pennsylvania, Florida, Colorado, Nevada, Illinois, Ohio, California, Virginia, Maryland, Georgia and both Carolinas. Some have gone on to compete in AKC racing events, and one is a certified service dog who visits the elderly in retirement homes. Most of them are simply loyal companions who love being with their people. We take deposits on upcoming litters. Please get in touch to hear what we’re expecting next.
