Small hobby breeder. From the very beginning, our puppies are raised inside our home as part of our daily life. Early socialization is one of the most important foundations for developing confident, well-adjusted Cocker Spaniels.
During the first few weeks, we focus on gentle daily handling and positive human interaction. Each puppy is touched, held, and spoken to multiple times a day so they become comfortable with people and build trust early on.
As they grow, we gradually introduce:
• Different household sounds (vacuum, TV, kitchen noises, doorbells)
• Various surfaces (tile, carpet, blankets, grass when age-appropriate)
• New toys and safe enrichment activities
• Supervised interaction with children and adults
• Short periods of independence to build confidence
We also begin early neurological stimulation exercises in their first days of life to help support strong development and resilience.
Our goal during these early weeks is to help each puppy develop a stable temperament, curiosity, and confidence so they transition smoothly into their new homes and families.
