Guerrero Italian Greyhounds: Raw-Fed Puppies From Mostly Imported Bloodlines I've bred Italian Greyhounds for about ten years, and today most of my dogs are imported, some from Russia and Ukraine. If you and your puppy don't get along, I'll give your money back or replace it. Our Story When my son was ready to get his first dog, he called and asked what I'd get. I've been a horse trainer all my life and grew up with Greyhounds and Whippets, so I didn't have to think long: an Italian Greyhound. He went and bought one. A while later he divorced and left the dog with his ex-wife, who said she'd take him to the pound if I didn't come get him. I picked him up and found him a home in the family twice, but each time a new job put them on the road. So I kept him myself and took him along on my hauling trips. A year later I decided he needed a partner and found an eight-month-old in Dallas. That boy was smart and would try to talk to you. He just touched my heart. He'd already been neutered, so I used his registration number to track down his breeder in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. I bought his full sister there and ended up with two more, all sisters. That's how I started, and I didn't do it for the money. I do it because I love these dogs. Our Breed Italian Greyhound: They're what I'd pick for myself: not too big, short-haired, and in my experience they don't bark a lot. They're really elegant, and they want to be with you all the time. The Premium Difference Overseas bloodlines: My program grew from my Dallas boy's line, and most of the dogs I breed from now come from overseas, including some from Russia and Ukraine. Raw diet, real time: I feed raw from day one, when they start eating. I'm out with my dogs all day, and I spend a lot of time with the puppies at night. Honest and trusted: I want people to trust me because I'm honest and I send good puppies. The first thing buyers say when theirs arrives is that it's clean and its coat is really pretty, and most of my buyers come back again. Standing behind them: If it doesn't work out between you and your puppy, you'll get a refund or a replacement.
